DIYmall Computer Networking Transceivers
If you are a DIYmall member, you have probably already made an order for a few of the computer networking transceivers we have on sale. We'll walk you through each one so you can decide which one is best for you. You can also check out our review of HC-06+ and HC-05. And don't forget to check out our blog for more information on these products!
HC-06
A good way to use the DIYmall Computer Networking Transceiver HC-06 with Arduino is to connect it to a USB-serial converter and run AT commands over the serial port. The HC-05 is similar, but the KEY/WAKE/EN pin needs to be connected to 3.3v. Next, load the serialloop sketch.
The HC-06 Bluetooth module can be connected to your mobile phone or other Bluetooth devices. When the connection is successful, the LED indicator will stop blinking. After connecting, send commands to check if the communication works. The LED on the SunFounder UNO board will blink once. When the connection is complete, the LED indicator will stop blinking. The LED on the module can also be checked by sending commands to see if the module is receiving them correctly.
HC-05
The HC-05 Bluetooth RF transceiver module is a powerful Bluetooth V2.0/2.1 device that enables data transfer wirelessly. It comes with a serial UART layer for easier operation. The HC-05 Bluetooth module features two modes of operation: transmission mode and AT command mode. The transmission mode broadcasts data to the connected devices. It can also operate as a master or slave board.
The HC-05 features a small push button switch on the breakout board. This push button switch connects pin 34/PIO11 to +3.3V. If you prefer a different connection type, you can solder a wire directly to the pin. The LED flash rate will change to one second on and one second off. However, some commands will not work if the pin is not HIGH.
HC-06+
The HC-06+ computer networking transceiver is one of the most popular wireless adapters available today. It can easily connect to a USB port and allow users to send and receive AT commands. Its dual-band technology maximizes throughput. If you want to stream HD videos and high-definition movies, this device is the way to go. But before you begin to build your own computer network, you need to learn about this device.
