OURLiNK repeaters have a rise time
The rise time of an OURLiNK repeater is approximately 2 seconds. Transmissions less than that time will be undetectable. For PL tones, the rise time is generally 2 to 3 seconds. If the repeater is RF linked, a rise time of up to 5 seconds may be needed. But for most users, two to three seconds should be enough. The antenna is shaded northwest-west from the site at Buffalo Rd and Turnipseed Road.
